Earlier, at FIFA’s General Assembly, LISTSOF presidents of FIFA confirmed that Iran will play in the 2026 World Cup and made it clear that Iran will play in the United States.
Asked by reporters about the matter, “Well, since Gianni said that, I agree,” Trump said. If they win, I’ll have to worry about it. Jenny was great, he was a friend of mine, and he talked about it, and I said, ‘let them do it. They might be a good team, but we should let them play. ‘”
In this World Cup, Iran will be drawn in Group G, along with Belgium, Egypt and New Zealand, against which it will play for the first time.
