On 6 January 1997, the case of drug manufacturing in Yuen Long Village House was heard by Acting Chief Magistrate Chung Ming-sun at Kwun Tong Magistrates’ Court.
Chan Ka-yu, aged 21(male) , law kai-chung, aged 35(male) and Pei Yu, aged 28(female) , were found guilty of illicit manufacturing and trafficking of dangerous drugs in a flat at Shan Ha Tsuen, Shan ha road, Yuen Long, New Territories, on charges of trafficking and manufacturing of dangerous drugs.
The 35-year-old law competed in the 2018 talent show“Making a star for all” under the nickname“Dog hair”. Sources say he was in debt to six figures in his early years.
During the trial on the 6th, law, wearing glasses, a black hoodie with a round neck and blue jeans, and two other defendants entered the prison. The prosecution objected to the defendants’ application for bail and applied for a retrial on March 31, pending the investigation report and other documents.
The village house was described by the prosecution as an active drug factory with a large number of drugs on display in the kitchen, living room and toilet. Hong Kong police suspect that many more people are involved.

The police force of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government recently announced to the public that a drug sweep operation was launched on January 3. During the raid, a village house unit on Shan Ha Road in Yuen Long was raided and a large number of drugs and drug-making equipment were seized, it contains 7.9 kg of cocaine, 1.2 kg of“Ice”, 741 g of crack cocaine, 598 g of ketamine and 259 tablets of etomidate (formerly known as space oil) smoke cartridges with a market value of about HK $7.74 million.
Chow Ka-yun, Senior Criminal Inspector of the Kowloon East Regional Public Activities Investigation Team, said that the crime division of Kowloon East Region had recently noticed that drug trafficking syndicates were using“Quick money” as a solicitation, recruiting young people as“Dead men” to carry out drug trafficking activities. These include the use of routine means of transport, such as taxis and lorries, as a cover for drug distribution, and the use of village housing units as drug production centres and drug storage depots.
