According to reports by the Associated Press, the New York Post and other US media on the 12th, local time, Florida gubernatorial candidate Kevin Siechowski was recently arrested on suspicion of beating two elderly people at home, they are believed to be his parents.

According to the New York Post, the local sheriff’s office said that Sikovsky, 46, was suspected of beating a victim with a cane at a riverside home in Palm Beach County, Florida, on the 10th local time, and threw a cell phone at another victim. Police have not confirmed Sijowski’s connection to the victim, but said the confrontation was a family matter.
The Associated Press, citing police sources, said one of the victims called the police, saying Sikovsky had threatened to kill them and that he would kill law enforcement officers if he did. Police did not disclose the ages of the two victims, saying only that they were over 65.
Thee Associated Press said video of the scene showed him claiming his parents had mental health problems and that his father had tried to kill him. “I didn’t do anything wrong. . . this is crazy,” Sikovsky said as he was escorted by police into a patrol car.
Reported that Siechowski has been the Florida election department as a Democratic candidate for governor, primary elections are scheduled to be held on August 18. He has been charged with multiple counts, including aggravated battery, witness tampering and robbery. The sheriff’s office said he had been placed in protective custody for making suicidal statements.
