May 25 — according to phonearena, this year’s WWDC will be Cook’s last keynote address as Apple CEO.

Foreign media say the keynote speech is far more important than any other in recent memory. Cook is expected to lead the event himself, with his successor, al-tunus, taking a bigger role on stage, marking the formal handover of leadership.
Foreign media said it was noteworthy that the WWDC would announce new developments in Apple Intelligence. So Cook’s valedictory speech was also an attempt by Apple to show that it can finally deliver the AI products it has been promising for two years.
Analysts had said the appointment of the long-time hardware chief signalled a renewed focus by the company on its core strengths in equipment, and focus on integrating AI capabilities into existing products to sustain growth. (Sihan)
