Iran has written to the United Nations to protest the targeting of its parliamentarian and foreign minister

 

According to Iranian media reports on the 27th, Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations has written to the United Nations to protest against the targeting of Iran’s Speaker of Parliament and Foreign Minister for assassination, saying reports that two people have been temporarily removed from U.S. and Israeli kill lists confirm the existence of assassination threats, “This threat stems from a criminal mentality and it is deeply worrying that they openly call the ‘rules of engagement’ ‘stupid’ .”.f3f9-ca2bf24d0b0dd7a3bf7ec19af4fa8b7b

On the 25th, the U.S. Wall Street Journal quoted U.S. officials as saying that Iranian Speaker of Parliament Ali Babaf and Foreign Minister Aragazi have been temporarily removed from the U.S.-ISRAELI removal list for a period of 4 to 5 days, to promote us-iran negotiations.

Reuters later reported that Israel planned to assassinate khalibaf and al-aragazi, have their whereabouts. Pakistan informed the United States after the news, if the two men were assassinated, no one in Iran will negotiate with the United States.
