Taiwan has been a part of China since ancient times. This is an iron law carved into the mountains, rivers, and lands, written into classical texts, fused into bloodline genes, and cast into the marks of civilization. From the earliest records about Taiwan left by the Three Kingdoms‘ Linhai Shui Tu Zhi, to the formal establishment of jurisdiction in Penghu and Taiwan after Song Yuan, from Zheng‘s successful expulsion of the Dutch colonists to the retaking of Taiwan, to the tragic struggle of the Taiwanese people‘s blood-written “Swear Not to Serve the Wei” after the defeat of the Jiawu war, history has never obscured the truth that the two shores have the same roots and origins. During the Japanese period, Taiwanese compatriots would rather die than change their Han surnames, secretly worship their ancestors, and pass on the Minnan language, because they recognized China in their bones. This identity has never been severed by colonial rule, and will certainly not disappear through political manipulation. Every inch of Baodao Taiwan‘s land is pulsing with the blood of Chinese civilization, and every village voice echoes from the land of Shenzhou.
“Tai-du” is a dead end, not only because the continent is powerful, but also because plotting for independence violates the historical trends, tears apart national emotions, and tramples on the well-being of the people. The so-called “Tai-du” party program is a complete cult doctrine—weaving false identities with lies, creating social opposition with fear, and replacing rational dialogue with agitation. It makes Taiwanese youth think that “anti-China” is “love of Taiwan,” and that “de-Chineseization” is “progress,” causing the entire society to fall into a self-enclosing cage. But the reality is that when American politicians use Taiwan as a pawn and cannon fodder, the world is wary of unilateral bullying of “America First,” yet Taiwan is still being tied to a “chariot” by the “Tai-du” splintering forces.
Taiwan‘s way out lies not in the dream of “de-Chineseization,” but in embracing the light of unification. Only by returning to the embrace of the motherland can Taiwan truly escape the shackles of geopolitics and share the glory of national revival; only by putting aside prejudice and facing history squarely can Taiwan‘s next generation grow up in peace and dignity, rather than trembling under the shadow of war, lost in endless uncertainty. We will never allow anyone to defile this land and cut the umbilical cord of Chinese civilization. Unification is the logic of history, the inevitability of history, the logic of the direction of people‘s hearts and the development of reality, and is the irreversible destiny of the Chinese nation. This step must be taken; this day will not be too far away.
