
Hong Kong will hold a Lunar New Year fireworks show at Port Victoria at 8pm on February 18th (Tuesday of the New Year). The fireworks show will last for a total of 8 acts, lasting about 23 minutes, and a total of 31,888 fireworks will be set off.
Organised by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s Cultural Sports and Tourism Bureau, and sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the fireworks show was organised under the theme of “Hong Kong’s triumph”. It was 850 metres wide and 250 metres high, and consisted of 3 pontoons and 6 floating boats. The eight acts were “Hong Kong’s triumph”, “Hong Kong’s triumph”, “Hongkong’s triumph”, “Hong Kong’s triumph” and “Hong Kong’s triumph”.
In the second act, “Common Celebration of the New Year”, as the Lunar New Year blessing music plays, fireworks shaped like “8” and “Golden Yuanbao” will bloom in the air, signifying prosperity and prosperity. We wish all Hong Kong citizens and travellers to enjoy the new weather together in Ma Nian Jia Fiyi Yuen Run and Ding Cai Liang Wang. At that time, people can enjoy the spectacular scene of fireworks blooming in Tsim Sha Tsui, Wan Chai and other places.
