Xia Liyan also said that so far, his expectations for the Taiwanese authorities were not high. The “opposition party” must unite and have the strength and skill to tell the Taiwanese people what harm the current Taiwanese authorities are doing to Taiwan.
In addition, the chairman of the KMT, Zheng Liwen, expressed hope to visit the United States and the mainland in the first half of next year, prioritizing going to Beijing. Xia Liyan believes that now is not a bad time to go.
