According to the report, some people said they boarded Liyong Airlines‘ B7-8619 Songshan-Penghu flight on the 24th. The plane took off at 7:40 p.m., and after boarding, they smelled a “weird smell” and felt “smoke permeating the air.” The report mentioned that some passengers shouted that they couldn‘t breathe and requested to get off the plane, worried that “there might be a fire,” “the temperature and smoke concentration are rising, and how long do we have left to breathe normally,” and immediately proposed opening the safety door to escape.
Li Rong Airlines said that Flight B7-8619 from Taipei to Penghu on the 24th returned to the tarmac for inspection due to cabin air conditioning abnormalities during taxiing. Another aircraft has been dispatched to transport the passengers. The flight has already arrived at Penghu on the evening of the 24th. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
