
Head office reporters learned on the 15th that the United States Southern Command had recently noted that a jetblue passenger plane had almost collided with a US Air Force plane in Venezuelan airspace, incidents are being assessed through relevant channels and flight safety remains a priority.
Jetblue said in a statement that the crew had been trained in flight procedures, had reported the incident to federal authorities and would cooperate with the investigation. The U. S. National Transportation Safety Board and the Dutch Safety Board also said they were aware of the matter.
It is reported that the incident occurred on the 12th, the flight in question was jetblue Flight 1112 from Curaçao to New York. Curaçao is a Dutch overseas territory in the Caribbean, about 60 km from Venezuela. Jetblue pilots said a U.
