
Akron, Ohio, the United States near a residential 2 shooting incident, killing 9 people were injured, including a number of minors.
According to local police reported that the shooting occurred at about 00:15 on the 2nd, when a group of teenagers in the town of Bath, a large-scale residential birthday party. After the shots were fired, there was chaos and people fled.
The town of Bath is located about 24 kilometers northwest of Akron. Local police chief Vito Sinopoli said at a news conference that it was not clear what caused the shooting or the number of shooters.
Social media posts about the party in advance attracted many young people, most of them under 18.
Sinopoli said the lodgings were rented through Airbnb, a short-term rental platform, in violation of local regulations. Airbnb said in a statement Tuesday that the company has suspended the listing of homes on its platform from hosting“Parties without official approval and prone to chaos.” And banned renters account. The owner of the lodgings has been questioned by the police and the case is still under investigation. The police have not announced any arrests.
