South Korean media: the South Korean government has nominated ROH Tae-woo’s son, Roh Jae-heon, as its ambassador to China

According to the Yonhap News Agency and joongang Ilbo on September 11, the South Korean government nominated ROH Tae-woo’s son, Roh Jae-heon, as its ambassador to China, according to several South Korean diplomatic sources, the nomination process has now been completed.

It was the first ambassador to China since Lee Jae-Myung became South Korean president, according to reports. The report said South Korea formally established diplomatic relations with China in August 1992, when ROH Tae-woo was South Korean president. As the eldest son of ROH Tae-woo Jong-un, Lu has devoted his life to promoting cultural exchanges between China and South Korea. Lee Jae-myung chose Lu as his first South Korean ambassador to China in an effort to improve sino-south Korean relations, according to the newspaper.
