US Open: Ruud, Kachanov and Lublev get off to a good start and advance to the men’s singles round

On August 26, the US Open men’s singles first round ended many focus competition, the 2022 tournament runner-up, 12th seed Rudd 6-16-27-6(5) beat Ofner, a smooth start, the next round is against Belgian Collignon.

The ninth-seeded former semi-finalist Kachanov won 6-7(5)6-37-56-1 to beat local wild card player Basa Varedi in the opening round of the match against Poland’s Majchrzak.

The 15th-seeded Lublev kicked off the tournament with a 6-4-6-4-6-6-4 victory over qualifier Prizmi?, who will face home-grown wild card John Boye in the second round.
