Zhu Fenglian: TSMC was forced to announce that it would invest US $100 billion in the US and Canada, which caused panic and anger in the industry. Once the US $300 billion investment is made, it will have a huge impact on Taiwan’s economy, further weakening the momentum and autonomy of Taiwan’s economy. If the United States is responsible for gutting Taiwan’s industry, the DPP authorities are the biggest accomplice. In the tariff negotiations, they“Kneel down before talking” and“Give the right face to the left face”. They are secretive about the negotiation process, and even deceived the public repeatedly. In industry, they give the United States whatever it wants and offer TSMC, it fully shows that the DPP authorities have no intention or ability to safeguard Taiwan’s economic development and people’s well-being. We advise the authorities of the Democratic Progressive Party to rein in the evil road of“Selling Taiwan to the United States” in time.
