Donald Trump sent six more tariff letters

 

US President Donald Trump sent a letter to the leaders of six countries yesterday morning, informing them of new tariffs to be imposed on imports from those countries.

Donald Trump posted the letters on real social, the social media platform he founded. The six countries are the Philippines, Brunei, Moldova, Algeria, Iraq and Libya. Libya, Iraq and Algeria will be hit with a 30 per cent tariff, Brunei and Moldova with 25 per cent and the Philippines with 20 per cent. The new rate will take effect from August 1.

Donald Trump on the 7th to Japan, South Korea and other 14 countries sent the first letters of tariffs, tariffs ranging from 25% to 40% . He also predicted that more such letters would be sent this week.
