The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) announced that Petra Solin was elected president of the ITTF, but there were questions from participants on the scene. According to official website, Swede Solin was re-elected with 104 votes, and Qatari Ahmad Khalil al-muhana with 102. The live broadcast of the elections was interrupted by a number of complaints about the process and protests on the ground.

According to the ITTF constitution, the ITTF will reconvene the ITTF Congress no later than November 2025 to elect a new ITTF executive board.
