On March 17, the press conference of the asia-pacific Summit of the World Internet Conference 2025 was held at the National Convention Center in Beijing. The secretary-general of WIC, Ren Xianliang Yam, and the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of the HKSARG, Sun Dong, attended the press conference and introduced the asia-pacific Summit.
The WIC asia-pacific Summit will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from April 14 to 15, WIC secretary-general Ren Xianliang said. The summit is hosted by the World Internet Conference, hosted by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and co-organized by the Hong Kong Bureau of Innovation, Technology and industry. Its theme is“Digital-intellectual convergence for the future-working together for a shared future in cyberspace”, government, enterprises, universities and research institutes from all over the world are invited to gather in Hong Kong to respond to the development proposition in the age of digital intelligence.
The summit will hold the opening ceremony on the morning of April 14, and the main forum and Digital Future Forum in the afternoon, three sub-forums on Artificial Intelligence Model, digital finance, digital government and smart life were held in parallel on the morning of May 15.
