On the morning of March 4, with 2:35 left in the first quarter of the game between the lone Rangers and kings, Lone Rangers guard Owen was injured in a drive and fell to the ground in agony, unable to stand for a long time.
In slow motion, Owen suffered an apparent anti-joint stretch on his left knee as he pushed off the ground after a right-knee collision with King’s centre-forward Valenchunas.
Owen stood up, made two painful free throws, and, unable to move, walked off the court with the help of his teammates.
The lone rangers have officially announced that Owen won’t be returning for this fight.
