The Ukrainians say Russian troops are trying to cross the Sumy Oblast border
On March 3rd Andrey Demchenko, a spokesman for Ukraine’s State Border Service, said Russian troops were trying to break through the border in usume to cut off Ukrainian troops’ supply routes. Demcenko said it was not the first time Russian forces had attempted to breach the border in the region and that it was not a large-scale offensive. So far, there has been no response from Russia.
