According to a CBS report on the 2nd, a mass shooting occurred outside the Amazura Concert Hall in Jamaica, Queens, New York, at about 11:15 local time on the 1st, 10 teenagers were injured. Police said several suspects opened fire on the crowd outside the venue and were searching for four male suspects.

According to reports, at that time, about 90 people in the private venue above the concert hall, and about 15 people were waiting in line outside the venue. Local police said the four men walked along 91st Avenue, approaching the crowd and suddenly fired about 30 shots. They fled down 143rd Street and got into a light-colored sedan with New Jersey plates.

The victims include six women and four men, aged between 16 and 19, the report said. All have been taken to hospital for treatment, injuries ranging from gunshot wounds to back abrasions in the legs, feet, arms and buttocks, and are not life-threatening.

New York Police (NYPD) Patrolman Captain Philip Rivera said police responded to multiple 911 calls and rushed to the scene. Police are now contacting nearby medical centers to determine if there are any other unreported victims.
