South Korean opposition parties say impeachment proceedings against Acting President Han Duk-soo will begin immediately

Park Zenda, a representative of the largest opposition party, the Democratic Party of Korea, said the delay by acting president Han Duk-soo had led to “Continued civil unrest” and that the party would immediately begin impeachment proceedings against Han Duk-soo.

Earlier, the Democratic Party had asked Han Duk-soo on the 22nd to sign the “Civil unrest special inspection law” submitted by the Congress to investigate the suspicion of civil unrest, such as yin xiyue, and the “Kim Jianxi Special Inspection Law” to investigate the president’s wife, Kim Jianxi, and said that if Han Duk-soo did not pass a bill soon, he would be impeached.

The country’s largest opposition party has accused Han Duk-soo, the prime minister, of “Civil unrest”

The Democratic Party of Korea (DPJ) , the country’s largest opposition party, said Monday that it was studying whether to impeach Han Duk-soo, the prime minister, on suspicion of “Civil unrest”.

Lee Jae-myung jong-eun, leader of the country’s largest opposition party, said at a press conference on Sunday that the Prime Minister and the head of the ruling party had undermined constitutional order and that presidential powers were not private and could not be transferred.
