Biden condemned the Wisconsin school shooting as “Shocking”

Madison, Wisconsin, United States, police said on social media 16, a local school shooting occurred that day, killing at least 2 people were killed and 6 injured. The gunman was also killed instantly. President Biden condemned the shooting on social media site X later in the day, AFP reported.

“This is shocking and implausible,” Biden wrote. “We Need Congress to act — now.”

Madison police chief Shawn Julian Barnes said the gunman was a teenage student. Police responded at nearly 11:00 Central time and did not open fire after entering the campus. Police believe the gunman committed suicide. US President Biden has been briefed on the shooting, US media reported earlier.
