On November 12, local time, president-elect Donald Trump announced that, john Ratcliffe, the director of National Intelligence who served in his previous administration, was appointed John Ratcliffe Central Intelligence Agency director of the CIA when he became president.
The 59-year-old Ratcliff has worked as a lawyer in Texas before entering politics, serving as mayor, federal prosecutor and, from January 2015 to May 2020, as a member of the House of Representatives.
