The mainland public security entry-exit administration arrested 18 major suspects, investigated and dealt with 86 illegal immigrants, smashed 3 false certificate manufacturing dens, seized 12 false certificate manufacturing equipment; Hong Kong immigration department raided 37 transit points and seized a batch of forged Hong Kong permanent identity cards. The two sides jointly investigated and dealt with 201 illegal and criminal personnel, and achieved remarkable results.
The relevant person-in-charge of the China entry and exit administration said that they will continue to deploy and guide the Public Security entry and exit administration departments of the mainland and the border inspection authorities to deepen their law enforcement cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of Hong Kong and Macao, we will strengthen interception at source, land and sea control, and control at boundary control points, crack down on illegal migration in accordance with the law, and maintain normal immigration and exit order in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
