October 24, local time around 18:31, located in the east of Busan, a U. S. military supply warehouse in South Korea Fire. So far, firefighters have carried out more than 11 hours of fire-fighting operations. Although the main fire has been brought under control, it will take time to put it out completely.
It is reported that the fire warehouse as long as 100 meters, using flammable sandwich panel structure, the fire spread quickly. A large amount of flammable materials, such as construction materials, polyurethane and rubber, were piled up in the warehouse, resulting in a violent fire and a large amount of toxic black smoke.
Busan fire disaster headquarters said: “The fire did not spread to surrounding buildings, fire-fighting work is continuing.”
It is understood that the supply warehouse is in South Korea for the U. S. military custody of the U. S. military equipment into the port of Busan facilities.
