The statement stated that the Palestinian people had the right to make all choices in accordance with their will to freedom and independence, and that they were the ones who determined the details and agenda of the post-war period, not in accordance with Israeli standards and the wishes of the United States.
In its statement, Hamas reaffirmed that the Palestinian people will continue to be steadfast in their resistance on their land until the demands of their people, namely, an end to the aggression, are met, full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, breaking the siege, rebuilding homes, and reached a serious ceasefire and exchange of detainees agreement.
Blinken arrived in Israel on the 22nd. It was Brinkene’s 11th visit to the region since a new round of large-scale Israeli-palestinian conflict broke out, and its first since the Hezbollah escalated late last month.
