US media: Donald Trump says he may not be able to get Elon Musk into the cabinet if elected

Donald Trump, the former US president and Republican presidential candidate, said in a recent interview that if he is elected, elon Musk may not be able to serve in the White House cabinet because he runs his own companies and has a busy schedule, but he can weigh in and advise. In an interview with Reuters earlier this month, Donald Trump said he would consider offering Elon Musk cabinet or advisory positions if elected, and the latter responded at the time.

“He wants to be a part of it, and now you see he runs a big business, so actually he can’t, I don’t think he can be a cabinet member,” Donald Trump said in an interview, “I would love to have him in the cabinet, but I don’t know how he can do that with so much going on.”

Donald Trump says musk can “Talk to the national level and give you some very good ideas”. He cited artificial intelligence (AI) as an example of where musk could help, the report said.
