According to reports, the Taipei District Prosecutors Office has filed a lawsuit alleging that from February 27, 2020 to November 2020, during his tenure as a public opinion representative, Gao Hong’an requested his assistant Huang Huiwen and others to cooperate by falsely reporting or inflating assistant compensation and overtime duty pay up to the budget limit, and returning the difference between the false or inflated reports to Gao Hong’an for his own discretion.

According to reports, according to the prosecutor’s statistics, the total remuneration and overtime pay for Gao Hong’an’s floating report assistant amounted to over 460000 New Taiwan Dollars. Five people, including Gao Hong’an, former office director Chen Huanyu, Huang Huiwen, assistant Wang Yuwen, and Chen Yukai, were prosecuted under the Corruption and Crime Regulations for using their positions to defraud property and forging documents.
