On September 3, local time, U.S. Vice President Vance said at a White House press conference that the U.S. is investigating a recent attack on a wedding in Iran.

In response to reporters‘ questions, Vance said that “sometimes such things are inevitable” and that the U.S. currently has “no definite information” about this incident, and that the U.S. is investigating. He also said that he has a “suspicious attitude” toward the Iranian media‘s reporting.

Vance also said that as long as ship attacks in the Strait of Hormuz continue, the United States will not negotiate with Iran.

According to the Iranian side on the first day, U.S. forces launched raids on many areas in southern Iran during the night, including a wedding event site in Khushtark, Hormozgan Province, resulting in four deaths and 50 injuries.

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran. An elementary school in the city of Minab in southern Iran was attacked, causing the death of 168 children. According to March news from the U.S., the U.S. military investigation initially identified the U.S. as taking responsibility for this incident. However, until now, the U.S. military has not released its final investigation results.
