The United States announced a $2 billion military financing agreement with Poland

The U.S. State Department announced a second direct loan agreement with Poland for foreign military financing worth $2 billion on July 8, local time.

According to a statement by the U.S. State Department, Poland is undertaking a major military modernization program, including the purchase of U.S. defense equipment, such as F-35 fighters, “Patriot” missile system and“Abrams” main battle tanks and so on.
The US government is understood to be providing up to $60m in foreign military financing to subsidise the interest cost of the loan to help speed up Poland’s arms purchases.
