The state of America\u2019s electric grid is growing more perilous each day. Legacy power plants are rapidly retiring while power demand is projected to rise at historic rates, driven by artificial intelligence and data centers, manufacturing and President Biden\u2019s efforts to force\u00a0electrification of the economy, including the cars and trucks we drive<\/a>. If we continue on our current course,\u00a0energy demand<\/a>\u00a0in the U.S. will exceed supply in just a few years.<\/p>\n

Grid operators, including PJM, the nation\u2019s largest,\u00a0began sounding the alarm<\/a>\u00a0more than a year ago. Despite these warnings, the Biden administration has proceeded to finalize a barrage of the most damaging regulations ever levied on our nation\u2019s power producers, including the\u00a0\u201cClean Power Plan 2.0,\u201d a new set of stringent rules targeting power plant emissions<\/a>.<\/p>\n
