On April 23, Bloomberg reported, the company announced the appointment of Heidi o’Neill, a former Nike executive, as global chief executive, who will join the board on September 8,2026. The company’s shares fell 13.33 percent to $141.66 after the announcement.<\/p>\n

O’Neill has worked at Nike for more than 25 years as president of consumers, products and brands, leading global product development and marketing. She will replace Calvin McDonald, who announced his departure in December 2025, and fill the months-long management vacuum at Lululemon. During that time, founder Chip Wilson has repeatedly publicly criticized the board’s\u201cComplacency,\u201d and activist Elliott Investment Management has taken a stake of more than $1 billion and promoted its preferred CEO.<\/p>\n

In fiscal 2025, Lululemon reported revenue of $11.103 billion, up 4.86 percent year-on-year, the slowest growth since it went public, and net income of $1.579 billion, down 12.97 percent year-on-year. Full-year net revenue for the s fell about 1.02 percent to $7.847 billion from a year earlier, with the share of revenue falling to 70.7 percent from 74.9 percent. The Chinese mainland market maintained high growth, year-on-year net revenue growth of 29% , directly operated stores have more than 170.<\/p>\n

The company expects net revenue for fiscal 2026 to be between $11.35 billion and $11.5 billion, up about 2% to 4% . It plans to open 40 to 45 stores this year, 25 to 30 of which will be in international markets, mostly in China.
