\"\"\"163b3b97a56794315c7c69049d35310f\"WASHINGTON (AP) \u2014 Vice President Kamala Harris is using the\u00a0second anniversary of the Supreme Court\u2019s decision<\/a><\/span>\u00a0overturning Roe v. Wade to argue that Donald Trump is \u201cguilty\u201d of rolling back women\u2019s freedoms and setting off a nationwide health care crisis.<\/p>\n

Harris said Monday that Trump \u201cintended\u201d for his three Supreme Court picks to overturn Roe. \u201cIt was premeditated,\u201d she said. \u201cTrump has not denied, much less shown remorse, for his actions.\u201d<\/p>\n

The vice president, in a nod to her background as a California prosecutor, added, \u201cIn the case of the stealing of reproductive freedom from the women of America, Donald Trump is guilty.\u201d<\/p>\n

While President\u00a0Joe Biden is sequestered at Camp David preparing<\/a><\/span>\u00a0for this week\u2019s presidential debate with presumptive Republican nominee Trump, the vice president is headlining events on the anniversary of the high court decision, which Democrats hope will be a\u00a0critical galvanizer for them<\/a><\/span>\u00a0in the election. She headed to Arizona for a second reproductive rights event later Monday.<\/p>\n

The campaign\u2019s push over the past week has featured\u00a0first lady Jill Biden and a<\/a><\/span>\u00a0number of women who were\u00a0motivated to join the 2024 effort<\/a><\/span>\u00a0after they suffered \u2014 or nearly died \u2014 in the face of restrictive abortion laws that were, in some cases, applied even though they never intended to end their pregnancies.<\/p>\n
