The person-in-charge forges the Certificate of Conformity without authorization and affixes the qualified label to the product. The company also said it apologised to all parties involved for the fraud.<\/p>\n<p>The report said 3,615 devices were involved in the fraud, most of which were small devices used to monitor personal exposure to radiation, as well as devices used to monitor the concentration of free dust in temporary storage facilities for nuclear waste. TEPCO said that in addition to the equipment supplied by Chiyoda technology, other devices were also used to monitor the radiation levels of its employees and there was no need to worry about their health.
