Ishiba Shigeru 27, said the Japanese government has again asked the United States to exclude Japan from the list of tariffs. He also said the auto tariffs would be permanent. This is following the United States on global steel and aluminum products and other measures after the\u201cTariff war\u201d another major escalation. Compared with previous steel and aluminium tariffs, the auto tariffs are seen as having a\u201cFatal impact\u201d on the economies of us neighbours Canada and Mexico, as well as allies such as the EU, Japan and South Korea.
