The government will hold the opening ceremony at the main stadium at 6:30 pm, Hong Kong media reported. More than 30,000 people are expected to attend the ceremony, according to Hong Kong media.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Sing Tao Daily, Kai Tak Sports Park has three venues: Kai Tak Main Arena, Kai Tak Sports Centre and Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground. The main stadium seats 50,000. According to reports, the opening ceremony on the evening of March 1 was attended by a number of people from the arts and sports circles in Hong Kong and the mainland, including Donnie Yen, Joey Yung, Kong Man Wai Vivian and Fan Zhendong.<\/p>\n<p>On February 28, the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, law shuk-pui, said that the opening ceremony of the Kai Tak Sports Park will kick off Hong Kong&#8217;s\u201cGlorious Super March\u201d. After its official opening, there will be a number of large-scale events, including rugby sevens competitions and concerts by British band Coldplay.
