Donald Trump pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n<p>On July 1, the Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump enjoyed a degree of immunity from criminal prosecution in the case of alleged interference in the 2020 election. Cases against Trump could be dropped after his election victory this month.<\/p>\n<p>Donald Trump is the first former president to face criminal charges. He has been involved in four criminal cases, a total of 91 criminal charges. Two of the cases were brought by Jack Smith teams.
