Meanwhile, other fast-food restaurants, including Pizza Hut, KFC and Burger King, have removed onions from some menus.<\/p>\n<p>A california-based Taylor Farms Product Company this week issued a recall warning that its peeled, whole, yellow onions may have been contaminated with E. coli, the food company said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>In the United States, 49 people suffered from E. coli contamination of mcdonald&#8217;s burgers, including one death and 10 hospitalizations.
